Hands-On Lunch-and-Learn Introduces CSP System to Philadelphia Architecture Firm
Cathedral Stone Products recently brought an unusual lunch-and-learn event to the firm of Voith and Mactavish Architects in Philadelphia. Part one was a presentation on “The Evolution of Mortar” that included a discussion of how our Jahn Substrate Specific/Engineered Mortars were developed. This educational presentation qualifies as one AIA Continuing Education Learning Unit (AIA CE LU).
Part two is where the event was a departure from your typical lunch-and-learn. During this segment, we “touched” on the finer points of using the CSP system to increase a building’s longevity without compromising the structure, risking the health of the restoration employees, or harming the environment. I say “touched” because this was literally a hands-on workshop— right there in the middle of the team’s architectural office.
Attendees had the chance to see our acid-free cleaning and stripping systems, water repellents, coatings and stains in action. And we informed them of new product developments and the launch of CSP’s Self-Cure Jahn Mortar.
Members of the firm’s New York City office, who were unable to be there live, joined us virtually, and I couldn’t help noticing that most of them were a little jealous and wishing that they could be there live, getting their hands on the work as well.
VMA had been specifying some of our products, but they were unfamiliar with the full Cathedral Stone Products system. What they discovered that day was that the CSP System includes the latest, greatest, and safest products—safest for the buildings, safest for the employees, and safest for the environment.
We welcome the chance to make onsite presentations to any firm interested in seeing the CSP System in action and hearing our educational presentation on “The Evolution of Mortar.” Please contact me and we can schedule an event with your team.
