How your finishing technique can affect texture and color.

This is the technique I recommended most often to masons in the field.

Compatibility, long-lasting, accurate color... how you mix the mortar is critical to all of these.

Inside of each box are a series of “pucks”—one puck for each available color. The pucks are made of the Jahn Repair Mortar specific to the target substrate, so the colors have cured within the mortar (or on the surface of the mortar in the case of potassium silicate coating).

It’s works great on stone, brick, terra cotta facades and concrete structures and walkways and is especially good on grave markers and statues.

Whether you’re color-matching on-site or sending us a sample for our lab custom color match, always clean the masonry you intend to use for your color match.
